Target GroupThis workshop is targeted to all managers who wish to: identify, document, model, analyze, simulate, automate or implement business processes, manage business process projects, change the way their employees work. For example: project managers, CIOs, quality managers, organization managers, process owners/designers, unit leaders, business analysts, IT architects, researchers, professors, students...
Workshop Programme
Involvement of the participantsOpen discussion about the right amount of BPM in organizations will be held. Discussion’s main topic will be: obstacles and pitfalls of implementing BPM in an organization (BPM technology vs. human factors vs. culture vs. size of the organization)
Expected resultsThe result will be summarization of focus group discussion, which will be published as a report.
Moderated WorkshopQuestions and Topics ElaborationIn a moderated workshop attendees will elaborate specific goals which help to answer the main question "How can I improve my business processes?". Working GroupsAttendees and the speakers will form working groups to elaborate the topics and propose practices to address how the goals can be transferred to the existing BPM strategy. Workshop SummaryThe workshop moderator will provide a summary report of the workshop to all participants within 4 weeks after the conference.
